Established in 1988 , Standard Metal Industries is located in Kolkata, West Bengal. Standard metal industries is leading manufacturer of lead and it’s allied product , and also exporters and importers since 1992. Our manufacturing unit is a global Leader in Secondary Lead Smelting Technology, provides solutions for Secondary Lead Smelting, Lead Refining, Lead Alloying, Lead Oxides Manufacturing in West Bengal.It comprises of battery breaking, Rotary Furnaces, Refining Pots. We are doing Lead Recycling through various sources of Lead Scrap (Battery Scrap, Lead Battery Plate Scrap, Concentrates etc.) Our Company is in a process to install , Spectrophotometer and some more instruments in its laboratory.

Currently, we have two plants:
- Ramchandarpur, Narendarpur, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India.
- Village and P.O. – Tentulkuli, P.S. – Domjur, Howrah – 711409, West Bengal India.
- Ramchandarpur Plant manufactures Lead Suboxide and Red Lead.
HOWRAH Smelting Plant capacity: 6000 TPA..Expansion: 12000 TPA.
